Because this statement is the wrong way round! It is practically impossible to lose weight without addressing the problems of the unhealthy lifestyle that got you where you are in the first place.
If you were to turn it around and say 'I'm going to get healthy to lose weight' then you have just increased your chances of success dramatically. Changing the bad habits and bad lifestyle choices for the better will results in the body resetting itself back to where it would rather be. It is the unhealthy lifestyle that is maintaining the situation. Unfortunately, there are numerous pitfalls and obstructions in your way to the person you'd rather be. Society, peer pressures, the food industry itself can all collude to derail your good intentions. There are many wide spread myths that over the course of these blogs I will hope to blow wide apart and help you understand the 'how and why' of why we get fat and how we can finally get the body you'd like.
